EL DORADO HOT SPRINGS "S/He who believes that enough is
enough Greetings, We'd like to introduce you to El Dorado Hot Springs, a rustic western mineral water spa located over an enormous natural subterranean hot spring. As nearly as possible, El Dorado offers a genuine desert hot spring soaking adventure, but with amenities, in a verdant and simple desert oasis. Practiced and enjoyed for millennia, hot mineral water soaking is one of the oldest forms of natural therapy. El Dorado is an ideal location for personal retreat. All accommodations have a 24 hour cancellation policy. The Motel California cabin has an FM radio, reading lamp, geoheat, AC, coffee/tea service and full bath, refrigerator, and microwave. It's $100.00 for one or $125.00 for two, with unlimited soaking in a beautiful large tub, built into a deck beside the room. There is a firepit with a fenced yard for privacy. The Last Resort Cabin is in a very private location. It is $55.00 for one or $75.00 for two. It has AC, geoheat, coffee/tea service, and either two 1 hour private soaks or unlimited soaking in the semi private area. It has an upper bunk for extra guests. The LaPaloma room is $45.00 for one or $65.00 for two, with a soaking package of either two 1 hour private soaks or unlimited soaking in the semi private area. It's a small room with a double bed, hot spring heat, evaporative cooler, and a toilet and sink are one door away. Mariposa is $45.00 for one or $65.00 for two. It is located in the same building as LaPaloma. It has a double bed, spring heat, AC, and a coffee/tea service. You use the same bathroom as LaPaloma. Soaking package of EITHER two 1 hour private soaks or unlimited soaking in the semi private area. There's a large room in the former Old Post Office, it's clean with a nice heater, AC in main room and in the bathroom. It has a king size bed, a queen size sofa bed, refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea service, it has an historic ancient private soak in a huge old masonry tank. It is $70.00 for one or $90.00 for two. Therapeutic Massage is available by appointment. Shade clothes slides over the outdoor tubs, misting systems are in place, and cool tubs are available so soaking is comfortable when the sun is hot. A Million Miles From Monday, El Dorado is the home of the one hour mineral water shower, a place where the hot water never runs out. Compliments of Mother Earth, the waters are like an elixir, akin to bathing in liquid silk. El Dorado Hot Springs is blessed by the Cadillac of spring waters. The main catons are sodium, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. The main anions are chloride, bicarbonate, sulfate, silicates, flouride, and boron. There is no iron or sulfur, making the water odorless and tasteless. Trace amounts of lithium make soakers feel very relaxed. A natural ph of 8.2 acts like a conditioner on one's skin and hair. Campfires encouraged, and firewood is for sale. Washer and Dryers, RV dump and water fill available. Envision basking in a large open air private bath-you can make the water cooler in hot weather and hotter in cool weather. Imagine gazing at the stars under crystal clear skies or just being alone with yourself. On a clear night you can see forever. Semi private soaking is $7.50 for 1 hour5 $15.00 for 2 hours and $20.00 for all day per person. Private pools are $10.00 per hour per person for each of the first 2 hours and $7.50 per person after that. RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY SUGGESTED ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. Bring a jug or two and take home pure El Dorado spring water. We have ice cold soda and bottled water for sale and towel rental. Bring sandals, robe, and a flashlight if you visit at night. Arrivals welcome from 9am to 9pm every day of the year. El Dorados 7.5 acres are in Tonopah (Native American for "Hot water under the bush". 40 miles west of Phoenix, near I-10 on a paved road and most services close by. Nearby is Tonopah Family Restaurant, and Lounge, an RV park that welcomes pets, mega acres of BLM land for free camping, biking, and hiking. At El Dorado, Mother Sun is our clock and peace, quiet, and the utmost respect for the space of others abound. Tonopah once was home to at least seven hot mineral water spas. Two of these historic sites border El Dorado, including the last one to operate which was owned by a local legend, Tonopah Doc Gear. We welcome all responsible people and look forward to your visit. Immediately on the right is a shell station on the northwest corner of 411th and Indian School Rd. Turn right on Indian School Rd. and go one quarter mile west.
