Ancient natural beauty abounds in the calm, silent desert surrounding El Dorado Hot Springs. Majestic mountains, Native American petroglyphs, bedrock metates in nearby caves, and a multitude a plants and animals can be seen.

Lilly pads, frogs, black mollies, and clouds in the Lilly Pond.
Great Horned Owl, %Bubo virginianus%.
A javelina %Tayassu tajacu% in camp is very unusual!
Hummingbirds feeding at the Aloe and Black Mollies in the Lilly Pond are common at El Dorado Hot Springs. Owls and Javelinas are quite rare.
