Desert Pete Images

Desert Pete is the semiprivate area with five hot tubs and one cooler tank. Lounges, library, and shower complete the facility.

The delightful antique cement tub in the foreground is over six feet long and holds hundreds gallons of soothing hot mineral water. It's one of our favorite soaks.

The Desert Garden Soaking Area

Large tub in Desert Garden. You don't really have to pump your own water for this tub.
These two private areas, Desert Garden, above and right, and Alfonse Karr, below, are suitable for singles or couples and may be reserved along with an adjacent overnight cabins. We'll get to that in the Accommodation Section of this tour. Desert Garden has room for a family.


Alfonse Karr is the name of the bamboo that grows there.

Alfonse Karr includes hot tub, cold plunge--which can be heated--lounges. Alphonse Karr is the name of the bamboo.


Lilly Pond...

A quiet, secluded place with two tubs for soaking and a pond full of black mollies and frogs.

Desert Moon, Newest Soaking Area.

Desert Moon

Desert Moon is El Dorado Hot Spring's newest soaking area. Tucked in between the Corral and Desert Pete, Desert Moon is a grand new soaking experience.

For those of you who want to soak for more than just an hour, for instance, if you want to stay all night, we have several ways to accommodate you. Follow me to see our cabins and parking.
